Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- There are no restrictions by nationality or country of ordinary residence.
- Clarendon scholars come from across the world: from the USA to Australia, Venezuela to Vietnam and from Norway to Nigeria.
- Applicants must apply for a full-time or part-time master’s or doctoral (DPhil) program at the University of Oxford.
- Current students who will continue to study for the same degree at Oxford in the next year are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Candidates must demonstrate outstanding academic merit and potential (usually a first-class or strong upper-second-class degree, or equivalent).
- Applicants must submit their course application by the December or January deadline for their chosen program (depending on the course).
- There is no separate application for the Clarendon Scholarship. All eligible applicants are automatically considered.
