Murdoch University began operations as Western Australia’s second university on July 25, 1973, and welcomed its first undergraduate students in 1975. This scholarship will provide the following to its recipients:
- A total of $12,000 awarded for up to 4 years of study
- $3,000 stipend per year ($1,500 paid in week 7 or 8 for both semesters) to support educational expenses

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a Humanitarian Visa
- Be graduating from Year 12 in the year prior to commencing Bachelor Engineering Honours
- Be from an underrepresented, equity, or marginalized group
- Meet the entry requirements for the Bachelor Engineering Honours program
- Provide a supporting personal statement
- Provide a reference from school or community leader
