Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

Undertake study in a country where Rotary clubs exist
Hold a bachelor’s degree or have completed at least two years of college-level coursework (for Master’s program)
Demonstrate excellent academic performance with strong grades throughout previous studies
Show genuine commitment to international humanitarian service and cross-cultural understanding
Demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction (Portuguese or English, depending on the program)
Be outgoing, articulate, and able to adapt to other cultures
Show willingness to serve as an ambassador of goodwill to Portugal
Not be a Rotarian, Honorary Rotarian, employee of Rotary, or direct relative of a Rotarian
Not be currently studying at a foreign institution seeking to continue those studies
