Selection Criteria

The UEF selection process evaluates scholarship applications based on academic merit and performance. For the UEF Scholarship (100% tuition waiver), the scholarship is awarded to the highest-ranked tuition fee-liable student in each programme based on admission results, with one additional student placed on a waiting list. For Tuition Waivers (30% or 50%), scholarships are awarded to a limited number of accepted students based on their application scores, including academic excellence, relevant academic background, strong performance in previous studies, and overall application quality. Some programmes automatically offer a 30% tuition waiver to all admitted students. Finnish Proficiency Tuition Waivers are granted to enrolled students who meet specific language certification or course completion criteria during their studies at UEF. All scholarships are tied to the tuition fee obligation and are determined at the time of admission.
