Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
Have completed high school within the last two years.
Have chosen to commence an approved STEM-related degree next year at one of our five partner universities. Please note: at the time of applying you do not need a formal offer to your course of choice.
Be able to attend the Disruptive Leaders Program in Singapore (July 2027). Please note: travel and accommodation expenses related to this event are covered by Westpac Scholars Trust.
Be able to attend the 2026 Westpac Scholars Summit in Sydney on 29th & 30th April 2026. Please note: travel and accommodation expenses related to this event are covered by Westpac Scholars Trust.

Selection Criteria

Your application will be assessed by your chosen university and top candidates will be shortlisted. Candidates will then be invited to attend an interview to determine their selection. The interview panel will be made up of a combination of Westpac Scholars Trust and university staff.
