Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this assistantship, applicants must:
- Applicants must be US citizens and be able to pass a military background check
- Hold a bachelor’s degree (for master’s applicants) or master’s degree (for PhD applicants) in ecology, biology, environmental science, natural resources, geography, or related fields
- Demonstrate strong academic performance with competitive GPA (typically 3.0+ on 4.0 scale)
- Meet Texas Tech University Graduate School admission requirements
- Experience with ArcGIS or with R
- Curation of spatial datasets (ability to manage, organize, and analyze geospatial data)
