The 2026 Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC Scholarship) at Guangxi Medical University is designed to support talented and ambitious international students pursuing postgraduate studies in China. Aimed at easing the financial burden of higher education, this scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, medical insurance, and provides a living stipend to help recipients focus fully on their academic and research goals. The university will admit up to 10 scholarship candidates for the 2026 intake under Scholarship Type B.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Be a non-Chinese citizen in good health
- Applicants for a Master’s degree must hold a Bachelor’s degree and be no older than 35 years old (born after March 31, 1991)
- Applicants for a Doctoral degree must hold a Master’s degree and be no older than 40 years old (born after March 31, 1986)
- Students expected to graduate in July 2026 must submit a Provisional Certificate from their current institution
- Must not be receiving any other type of Chinese Government Scholarship simultaneously
- Must hold an HSK Level 5 or above certificate (valid within 2 years of the application date)
- Must submit a Study/Research Plan written in Chinese (minimum 800 words for Master’s applicants; minimum 1,500 words for Doctoral applicants)
- Doctoral applicants must have their research plan signed and confirmed by a supervisor at GXMU

Selection Criteria
Qualified students for the 2026 Chinese Government Scholarship at Guangxi Medical University will be selected based on a combination of academic merit, quality of the research or study plan, language proficiency, relevant academic background, and potential to contribute meaningfully to their field of study. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for a telephone or online interview before final submission to the China Scholarship Council for evaluation.
