The 2026 Monash University Graduate Research Scholarships offer comprehensive funding for outstanding domestic and international students pursuing Research Master’s or PhD degrees at Monash University, one of Australia’s leading research institutions. The scholarships include the Research Training Program (RTP) funded by the Australian Government, Monash Graduate Scholarships (MGS), and Monash International Tuition Scholarships (MITS), covering full tuition fees, living stipends of up to AUD $37,145 per year, relocation allowances, and health insurance for international students.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree with First Class Honours or equivalent (Honours 2A acceptable for some scholarships)
- Must have graduate from a well ranked university
- Must meet Monash University’s English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0), TOEFL iBT 79+, or PTE 58+ (higher scores required for some faculties)
- Must be enrolling in a Research Master’s or PhD at Monash University Australia
- Must not have previously held an Australian Government or Monash-funded Postgraduate Research Award for more than six months
- Open to Australian citizens, permanent residents, New Zealand citizens, and international students
- Must identify and secure support from a potential research supervisor before applying
