The Transilvania Academica Scholarship (TAS) is a highly competitive and merit-based award designed for outstanding international students from non-EU and non-EEA countries who wish to pursue a Master’s degree at Transilvania University of Brașov. The scholarship aims to attract academically excellent candidates who can contribute to the university’s international profile and academic community. It provides a comprehensive funding package that includes full tuition fee coverage, free accommodation in university-managed dormitories, and a monthly living allowance to support basic expenses throughout the study period. In addition to financial support, successful recipients are appointed as “Ambassadors” of the university, expected to promote the institution internationally and actively participate in academic, cultural, and promotional activities.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be a citizen of a non-EU or non-EEA country
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or provide a certificate proving passing of the bachelor’s degree exam (provisional graduation certificate accepted)
- Must apply for a Master’s degree programme at Transilvania University of Brașov
- Must submit complete application file in English by the deadline
- Scholarship continuation requires passing each academic year

Selection Criteria
An evaluation board appointed by the Rector assesses candidates based on the quality of submitted documents: CV highlighting outstanding achievements, motivation letter (max 1 page), three recommendation letters, and Bachelor’s degree diploma or provisional certificate.
