The UMS International Priority Scholarship (IPS) is a comprehensive financial assistance program offered by Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta to attract talented international students from Muslim developing countries to pursue higher education in Indonesia. The scholarship is available under two schemes—Fully Funded and Partially Funded—with the fully funded option covering tuition fees, monthly living allowances (IDR 1,750,000/month approximately USD 110), book allowances, health insurance, visa fees, return airfare, limited stay permit, and a complimentary one-year Bahasa Indonesia language course for students enrolled in regular (Indonesian-language) programs.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be from a developing country
- Must hold valid passport
- Passport must be valid for at least 18 months from date of application
- Official English language certificate required (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, or equivalent)
For Bachelor’s Programs:
- Must have completed senior high school (secondary education) with strong academic record
- Official high school diploma/certificate required
- Academic transcripts showing good grades
- Demonstrates potential for university-level success
For Master’s Programs:
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Strong undergraduate academic record required
- Academic transcripts with good GPA
- Previous academic achievements and publications strengthen application
For Doctoral Programs:
