Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be classified as paying International fees (not Home/UK fees)
- Must be domiciled in Africa
- Must hold passport from one of the eligible African countries
- Must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement
- Must achieve grades equivalent to UK First Class Honours (typically 70%+ or equivalent)
- Strong academic record across all years of undergraduate study
- Transcripts should show consistent excellence and intellectual capability
- Must hold an offer of admission for a one-year postgraduate taught Master’s program at University of Glasgow
- Must be able to demonstrate clear career and/or development plan that will be supported by Master’s level study
- Must articulate in application form how Master’s degree will enable positive contribution to community/country
- Should show commitment to returning to Africa or working in African development contexts
- Must demonstrate vision for becoming “Future World Changer” through education
- Must complete University of Glasgow scholarship application online
- Must be able to cover accommodation, food, travel, personal expenses independently
