The University of Glasgow Behavioural Science Scholarship is a fully-funded postgraduate award offered by the University of Glasgow to attract the world’s most academically talented students to its internationally recognised MSc in Behavioural Science programme. Eleven full tuition fee scholarships are available for the September 2026 intake, making this one of the most generous scholarship programmes of its kind in the UK. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study the MSc in Behavioural Science (full-time postgraduate taught programme) at the University of Glasgow for September 2026 entry
- Must be a self-funding student — the scholarship is not open to students already in receipt of full external funding that covers tuition fees
- Must be enrolled or intending to enrol on a full-time basis
- Open to applicants from all eligible countries and regions globally, including Home/RUK, EU, and International students
- Must submit a complete scholarship application through the University of Glasgow Scholarship Portal by either the Round 1 deadline (February 23, 2026) or the Round 2 deadline (May 18, 2026)
- Applicants are responsible for first securing an offer of admission to the MSc in Behavioural Science before applying for the scholarship

The Behavioural Science Scholarship selection process is designed to identify outstanding candidates who will contribute meaningfully to the academic life and diversity of the University of Glasgow’s School of Social Sciences. The scholarship selection committee assesses all eligible applicants on the basis of academic excellence, looking specifically for students who have demonstrated exceptional performance in their undergraduate or prior postgraduate studies, and whose academic trajectory reflects the intellectual rigour required to thrive in a demanding, research-intensive environment. The committee also gives significant weight to the applicant’s determination and professional ambition recognising students who have shown genuine drive and purpose in their academic and career journeys to date, and who show clear promise in contributing to the evolving field of behavioural science.
