Selection Criteria

The UniGe international scholarship selection process is structured around two parallel tracks that operate simultaneously with the university’s admissions system. For the UniGe Incentives fee waivers, a dedicated university committee evaluates each applicant’s academic record, their score on the qualification assessment conducted through UniGeApply, and any relevant personal or status-based criteria  including disability status, refugee status, or other circumstances that may qualify a student for additional support. Students who achieve top scores in the qualification assessment receive automatic merit reductions upon enrollment, while those in continuing years are ranked within merit brackets that determine the value of their contribution reduction.
