Sabancı University offers one of the most comprehensive and generous scholarship programmes for international students among all private universities in Turkey, with no separate scholarship application required at any level every eligible international student who submits a complete admissions application is automatically reviewed by the Sabancı University Scholarship Committee for all available awards at their level. For undergraduate international students, scholarships range from partial tuition waivers to full 100% tuition fee exemptions, with the most competitive full scholarship recipients also receiving free on-campus dormitory accommodation in a four-person room for the duration of their studies.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Open to all international students of any nationality applying to undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD programmes at Sabancı University
- Must submit a complete admissions application including all required documents: official academic transcripts
- Must meet the academic entry requirements for the specific programme of study applied to
- Applicants with Turkish ties must submit additional documents including a Blue Card, renouncement letter, or residence permit as specified
- Must not have graduated from a Turkish high school for undergraduate scholarship consideration
- For in-study scholarships: must have completed at least two semesters at Sabancı University with outstanding academic performance; specific scholarships have additional criteria including minimum GPA thresholds, financial need documentation, programme enrolment, and academic year level
- Graduate students on externally or project-funded stipends must comply with the minimum stipend thresholds set by the Graduate Schools (minimum 35,750 TL/month for MA/MS; minimum 55,000 TL/month for PhD; minimum 60,500 TL/month for PhD post-qualifying exams)

Selection Criteria
The Sabancı University scholarship selection for international students is conducted by the Admissions Jury and finalised by the Board of the relevant Graduate School (for graduate applicants) or the undergraduate admissions committee (for undergraduate applicants), with all evaluations taking place simultaneously with the admissions review no scholarship is awarded after admission, and no separate scholarship application process exists. The Scholarship Committee applies a holistic review framework that considers every element of the applicant’s submitted admissions file: academic transcripts and GPA from all prior institutions, examination and standardised test results, letters of recommendation, evidence of academic achievement such as competition prizes, Olympiad certificates, publications, or other research outputs, and for graduate applicants interview performance where applicable.
