The Chinese Government Scholarship for the Master of Finance programme at the School of Finance, Renmin University of China is a fully funded postgraduate scholarship administered by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and offered through two main pathways. Under Type A (Bilateral Program), applicants apply through their home country’s dispatching authority such as a Chinese embassy or consulate, log in to the CSC Scholarship Information System at studyinchina.csc.edu.cn, and select Renmin University of China as their first choice. Under Type B (High-level Program and Silk Road Program), applicants apply simultaneously to RUC and to the CSC, selecting Agency Number 10002 for Renmin University of China.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be a non-Chinese international student from any country outside the People’s Republic of China
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or be completing a Bachelor’s degree at the time of application
- Must not be more than 35 years old at the time of application
- Must be in good health and able to provide a physical examination record at the time of admission
- Must not currently hold any other Chinese Government Scholarship
- For Type A (Bilateral Program): must apply through the dispatching authority of the home country such as a Chinese embassy or consulate, select Type A on the CSC system at studyinchina.csc.edu.cn, and list Renmin University of China as the first choice
- For Type B (High-level Program and Silk Road Program): must apply simultaneously to RUC through its International Students Application System and to the CSC system, selecting Type B or Silk Road Program and entering Agency Number 10002 for Renmin University of China
- Must submit all required application materials including the CSC Online Application Form, a notarised copy of the highest diploma earned, official transcripts, a study plan, two recommendation letters, a copy of passport, and a physical examination record
- All documents not in Chinese or English must be officially translated into either language
- Must list Renmin University of China as the first choice university in the CSC application system

Selection Criteria
