Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be an international non-EU student enrolled or intending to enrol at the University of Palermo for the 2025/2026 academic year
- Must meet both the merit and income criteria specified in the annual ERSU call for applications,
- For Master’s degree enrolment: must hold a recognised Bachelor’s degree from outside Italy and submit all required documents including a valid passport, passport photo, transcript of records, Bachelor’s degree certificate, an official language certification at B2 level or higher (Duolingo not accepted), and a CV
- For Master’s degree applicants: must register on the Unipa Student Portal and Universitaly Portal and pass a Personal Knowledge Interview conducted via Microsoft Teams between January and November 2026
- For non-EU students residing abroad: must pay tuition fees under the fixed fee structure based on country of origin (Option 1) or the income-based fee structure with ISEE-equivalent documentation (Option 2)
- All documents must be submitted in PDF format via the Unipa Student Portal within the stated application windows
- Must note that pre-enrolment at the university does not guarantee a visa appointment, as the issuance of study visas is the exclusive responsibility of Italian diplomatic-consular representations
- Scholarship holders must maintain satisfactory academic progress to retain the award in subsequent academic years
