The University of Dundee Alumni Scholarship is a loyalty-based tuition fee reduction award available to graduates and former exchange or study abroad students of the University of Dundee who are returning to pursue a further full-time, campus-based undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree, including the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. Valued at £1,500 for Home, rest of UK, and Republic of Ireland applicants, and £3,000 for international applicants, the scholarship is awarded for one year only and is open to students commencing studies in January 2027 on programmes with fees of £8,500 or above for undergraduate and £10,850 or above for postgraduate taught levels. Where eligible, the scholarship can be combined with either the Global Excellence Scholarship or the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship, though it cannot be combined with the Alumni and Family Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must have previously graduated from the University of Dundee with an undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree, or have completed a minimum of one semester as an exchange or study abroad student at the University of Dundee
- Must be enrolled in a full-time, campus-based programme leading to the award of a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice
- Programme fees must be £8,500 or above for undergraduate programmes, or £10,850 or above for postgraduate taught programmes
- Must be commencing studies in January 2027
- Cannot be simultaneously in receipt of the Alumni and Family Scholarship
- Where eligible, may be combined with only one of the following: the Global Excellence Scholarship or the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship

Selection Criteria
The University of Dundee Alumni Scholarship requires no separate application and is assessed automatically as part of each applicant’s course application, with eligibility determined by verification of the applicant’s prior academic relationship with the university either as a graduate of an undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme or as a former exchange or study abroad student of at least one semester’s duration alongside confirmation that the chosen programme is full-time, campus-based, leads to an eligible qualification, and meets the applicable minimum fee threshold; applicants who believe they are eligible but have not been notified prior to commencing their course are advised to contact the university directly to have their eligibility assessed.
