The Calver Family Scholarship at Murdoch University was established in 2009 to support outstanding students entering honours or research master’s studies within the College of Environmental and Life Sciences, particularly in disciplines concerning environmental and conservation sciences. Eligibility is targeted: applicants must plan to study full-time (Honours, Research Masters with Training, Accelerated Research Masters or Master of Philosophy) and choose majors such as Biological Sciences, Conservation and Wildlife Biology, Environmental Science, Environmental Management and Sustainability, Marine Biology, or Marine Sciences, with a research focus on animal ecology. The scholarship is awarded for one year and is intended for high achievers who are not already in receipt of another scholarship.
Murdoch University, located in Perth, Western Australia, is a research-intensive public university founded in 1974 and known for its flexible admission pathways, inclusivity, and strong performance in research and innovation. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Intend to enrol full-time in the either a Bachelor of Science Honours, Research Masters with Training, Accelerated Research Masters with Training or Master of Philosophy and select one of the following majors:
- Biological Sciences
- Conservation and Wildlife Biology
- Environmental Science
- Environmental Management and Sustainability
- Marine Biology
- Marine Sciences
- Undertake research in the areas of animal ecology
- Have a record of high achievement in previous studies or professional work
- You must not be in receipt of any other scholarship.
