The International Futures Scholarship (2026) is an initiative by Murdoch University to support international, full-fee-paying students entering eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees at its Western Australian campuses. The scholarship offers a 25% reduction in tuition fees automatically applied for the duration of the degree, for specific courses such as Business, Engineering, Psychology, Data Analytics, Sustainable Development, and more. It is automatically awarded to students who meet all eligibility criteria at admission, with no separate application process required.

Benefits of the Scholarship

This scholarship will provide the following to its recipients:

The scholarship gives a 25% reduction off the international tuition fees.
The reduction applies for the entire duration of your eligible degree (undergraduate or postgraduate coursework) when you start in 2026.
You don’t need to separately apply for it. If you meet all eligibility criteria at admission for one of the eligible courses at a Western Australian campus, the scholarship is automatically awarded.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:

You are an international, full-fee-paying student.
You are starting studies at one of Murdoch’s Western Australian campuses in 2026.
You are starting studies for an eligible Murdoch coursework degree set out below.
You are not receiving any other Murdoch scholarship.
You are not subject to any of the exceptions set out below.

You are not eligible to receive this scholarship if you:

Are an Australian citizen or a permanent resident visa holder.
Are not required to pay international student tuition fees.
Have received an Australian government scholarship that covers all or part of your tuition fees.
Are sponsored by a non-Australian government funding body that covers all or part of your tuition fees.

Selection Criteria

To be selected for the Murdoch University International Futures Scholarship, students must be international, full-fee-paying applicants commencing an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at a Western Australia campus in 2026. The award is not available to Australian citizens, permanent residents, students already receiving other Murdoch or Australian Government scholarships, or those whose tuition is fully or partly covered by external sponsorship.
