  • Family allowance of 160 EUR
  • Study-related costs such as books, study materials, and other academic needs.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:

  • Be a student from countries in the Global South (Asia, Africa, Latin America), post-Soviet states as well as eastern and south-eastern European (EU) countries.
  • Students or doctoral candidates from OECD countries are not eligible for funding.
  • Enrolment at a state or state-recognised higher education institution in Germany
  • The funding for international students includes Bachelor’s, Master’s and Diploma degree programmes, as well as degree programmes leading to the state examination.
  • Above-average study-related performance and first graded certificates of academic achievement
