The Brazil Government PEC-PG Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded program designed to strengthen academic and cultural ties between Brazil and developing countries. Benefits of the Scholarship
This scholarship will provide the following to its recipients:

- Health insurance of R$400.00 per month
- International Airfare
- Academic support
- Monthly stipend of R$2,100.00 for a full master’s degree
- Monthly stipend of R$3,100.00 for a full doctorate and sandwich doctorate
This stipend can be used to cover the following:

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be a citizen of a developing country that maintains an educational or cultural cooperation agreement with Brazil.
- For Master’s applicants, must have completed a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- For PhD applicants, must have completed a Master’s degree.
- Must demonstrate strong academic performance and research potential.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Portuguese, as courses and research are conducted in the language.
- Must hold or be eligible for a temporary student visa (Type IV) for study in Brazil.
