Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a non-Chinese citizen in good health both physically and mentally
- Not currently be studying in China
- For Master’s Degree applicants: Must have a Bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years of age
- For Doctoral Degree applicants: Must have a Master’s degree and be under 40 years of age
- Meet language requirements as specified by the program (Chinese-taught or English-taught)
- Have a good academic record with minimum average score of 70 (out of 100) or CGPA of 3.0 (out of 4)
- Meet the admission requirements of Nanjing University for the chosen program

Selection Criteria
The Nanjing University CSC Scholarship selection process, jointly conducted by the University Admission Committee and the China Scholarship Council, evaluates applicants based on their academic qualifications and performance, compliance with age and health requirements, quality and completeness of application materials, language proficiency, and demonstrated research potential and academic goals, while ensuring all candidates meet eligibility criteria as non-Chinese citizens not currently studying in China.
