The GREAT Scholarships is a prestigious scholarship program jointly funded by the UK Government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council in partnership with over 70 participating UK universities. The program offers students from 18 countries the opportunity to receive £10,000 towards their tuition fees for a wide range of one-year taught postgraduate courses. In the 2025-26 academic year, over 200 scholarships are available across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, providing exceptional opportunities to study at some of the world’s most prestigious universities.
The GREAT Campaign was launched to encourage international audiences to visit, study, trade, invest, live, and work in the UK. Through these scholarships, recipients gain access to world-class education, global networking opportunities, and cultural exchange experiences. All GREAT scholars are invited to a welcome event in the first semester and a networking event in the second semester, fostering lasting connections with peers from around the world. The program not only provides financial support but also creates a platform for scholars to become ambassadors for UK higher education and build international networks that significantly boost their careers.
