The Hilary and Galen Weston Foundation Scholarship is a prestigious fully funded scholarship offered by Lucy Cavendish College at the University of Cambridge, made possible by a generous landmark gift from The Hilary and Galen Weston Foundation. This transformative scholarship supports exceptional international students who identify as female from under-represented, non-traditional, and low-income backgrounds pursuing one-year Master’s degrees at Cambridge University.
The scholarships support two students each year for three years, enabling talented students who come from non-traditional and low-income backgrounds to access Cambridge’s world-class graduate education. Lucy Cavendish College is one of the University of Cambridge’s graduate colleges, known for its diverse, international, and intellectually vibrant community of scholars. Founded in 1209, the University of Cambridge is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious universities, consistently ranked among the top institutions globally.

Put simply, their gift will change lives.” The scholarship particularly supports students pursuing Masters courses linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), especially those who can evidence the drive and experience to establish successfully impactful careers in sustainability and social change.
