Australian National University (ANU) Research Training Program (RTP) Postgraduate Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be an international student holding a valid study permit (non-Canadian citizen)
  • Be admitted to MacEwan University for the Fall term or Winter term
  • Be admitted to a degree or diploma program
  • Achieve an admission average of 80% or higher (or AGPA of 3.50 or higher) on courses used for admission:
    • 95-100% or AGPA 3.99+: Chancellor’s Scholarship
    • 90-94.99% or AGPA 3.90-3.99: President’s Scholarship
    • 85-89.99% or AGPA 3.70-3.89: Provost’s Scholarship
    • 80-84.99% or AGPA 3.50-3.69: Dean’s Scholarship
  • Be registered in at least 12 credits per term in each of the Fall and Winter terms
  • Remain enrolled in the minimum required credits after the add/drop deadline for both Fall and Winter terms
  • To receive second installment in Winter term: complete at least 12 credits in Fall term with minimum GPA of 2.0
  • English proficiency required through one of the following:  IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo English Test, PTE Academic, Cambridge English (CAE/CPE), CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment), MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery), IB or AP English courses.
  • Meet all program-specific admission requirements
  • Submit all required academic transcripts and supporting documents

2026 King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) Postgraduate Scholarship

Selection Criteria

Selection is automatic and merit-based solely on admission average or AGPA calculated from courses used for program admission. International students who meet the minimum 80% threshold and enroll in eligible degree or diploma programs for Fall or Winter terms are automatically considered upon admission without separate application. Recipients are notified via their admission letter. If there are more qualified students than available funds, scholarships are awarded starting with highest averages until funds are exhausted. Students must maintain enrollment in at least 12 credits per term in both Fall and Winter semesters and achieve minimum 2.0 GPA in Fall term to receive the second disbursement in Winter term.
