Selection Criteria

The University of Trento awards its international scholarships through a strictly merit-based process that considers strong prior academic performance, the relevance of a candidate’s academic background to their chosen program, and clear motivation and capacity to meet UniTrento’s performance standards. Scholarship amounts differ by program—€8,500 for female students in STEM fields to support gender equity, and €7,200 for students in other disciplines.

Recipients must maintain steady academic progress to keep their funding, earning at least 42 credits annually (or 36 for Italian-taught programs) by August 10.
