The programme is structured around four key research themes, namely current and disruptive technologies, circularity and whole life approach, AI-driven digitalisation and data, and risk-based systems thinking and connectivity, all united by the shared goal of leading a transformation to net zero infrastructure. Studentships start on 1 October each year for both full-time and part-time applicants, with successful candidates required to complete their MRes/PhD within the duration of the studentship award.
