The Harold A Robertson Scholarship in Parkinson Research is an in-program award offered annually at Dalhousie University to support graduate students whose research focuses on Parkinson’s Disease. The scholarship is intended to support work at a basic sciences level or at a broader symptom level, addressing everyday living challenges and concerns such as caregiving, home design, technology, accommodations, or research tracing and predicting Parkinson’s families. A scholarship of $5,000 is awarded at each competition, with the application deadline set for October 31 at 4:00 p.m. ADT each year. Applications are submitted through the Dalhousie Faculty of Graduate Studies online portal.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be enrolled in a graduate studies program
- Must demonstrate strong academic achievement
- Your project must be in the research area focusing on Parkinson’s Disease with an emphasis if possible at a basic sciences level or broader symptom level to address everyday living challenges and concerns such as caregiving, home design, technology, accommodations, or those tracing and predicting Parkinson’s families
