Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- You must be a non-French citizen. Dual nationals who hold French nationality are not eligible.
- You should not already be in France at the same level of studies as the one for which you are applying.
- For Master’s you must be under 29 years old at the time of application in many cases.
- For PhD age cap is generally 35 years old at application time.
- The scholarship is for Master’s programmes (including engineering) and PhD programmes.
- You should not have already received an Eiffel scholarship at the same level (Master’s or PhD)
- You must not be already benefitting from another French government scholarship at the same time.
- You must meet the required level of proficiency in French or English depending on the program.
