Selection Criteria
Academic scholarships at HKUST are awarded automatically as part of the admissions process — all applicants are considered without a separate application, based on academic merit, non-academic achievements, and other criteria as specified by each individual scholarship. For non-academic scholarships, a separate application is required and applicants are assessed on the specific criteria of each scheme.
