The Arbour Foundation Master’s Scholarship is a prestigious funding opportunity created to support outstanding students pursuing master’s degrees in Québec, Canada. Recipients have the opportunity to pursue their studies at one of the eleven partner universities across Québec, including Bishop’s University, Concordia University, École de technologie supérieure, HEC Montréal, Institut national de la recherche scientifique, McGill University, Polytechnique Montréal, Université de Montréal, Université de Sherbrooke, Université du Québec à Montréal, and Université Laval. Beyond financial assistance, the Arbour Foundation also supports scholars through opportunities such as French language support, mentoring, networking activities, and initiatives designed to promote cultural integration and professional development, helping international and local students thrive within Québec’s academic, professional, and wider social community.

Benefits of the Scholarship
This scholarship provides comprehensive support including:
- Master’s: CAD $23,000 per year, renewable once
- PhD/DBA: CAD $35,000 per year, renewable up to twice
- MBA: CAD $23,000, non-renewable.
The funds awarded each semester can be used to cover:
- Tuition fee
- Living expenses
- Health insurance
- Accommodation
- Travel expenses

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be enrolled full-time in a master’s program at one of the partner universities.
- Have completed at least 2 full-time semesters in a Quebec university in the past 12 months prior to file transfer to the Foundation.
- Have been registered full-time in the fall and winter sessions preceding the summer semester.
- Be enrolled full-time in fall and winter semesters following the competition to receive the scholarship.
- Have an average of 75% or higher.
- Have at least two full semesters remaining in the program at the time of first payment.
- Be studying in Engineering, Computer Science, or Administration domains.

Selection Criteria
The Arbour Foundation evaluates candidates using the following weighted criteria:

| Research skills and/or ability to apply prior learning and skills | 10% |
The selection committees evaluate candidates through application materials and selection interviews. Academic excellence is the primary consideration, followed by demonstrated financial need and active social involvement or leadership qualities. Research capabilities and the ability to apply previous learning and skills are also assessed to identify students with strong potential for professional success.
French language proficiency also taken into consideration during selection interviews.
