The Radboud Scholarship Programme is a highly selective scholarship program offering talented, highly motivated, non-EU/EEA students with outstanding study results the opportunity to be awarded a partial scholarship for an English-taught Master’s programme at Radboud University in the Netherlands.
Founded in 1923, Radboud University is a public university located in Nijmegen, Netherlands, and is one of the best traditional, general universities in the country. The university is situated on a green campus south of the Nijmegen city centre and is committed to contributing to a healthy, free world with equal opportunities for all.
The scholarship is funded by the Profiling Fund of Radboud University and provides significant financial support including tuition fee reduction and coverage of visa, residence permit, and insurance costs.

- Tuition fee reduced to €2,695 per year. For example, a grant holder in 2026/2027 will pay only €2,695 instead of approximately €18,000 (depending on your programme)

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold a non-EU/non-EEA passport
- Have a Bachelor’s degree achieved outside the Netherlands
- Have no degrees achieved in the Netherlands and did not receive any previous education in the Netherlands
- Meet the English language proficiency requirement for the Master’s programme of your choice
- Have been fully admitted to the English-taught Master’s programme starting 1 September 2026 as stated in the formal letter of admission
- Be able to comply with the conditions for obtaining a visa for the Netherlands
- Be enrolled at Radboud University as a full-time student for the academic year and Master’s programme for which the scholarship will be awarded

Selection Criteria
The Radboud Scholarship selection process evaluates applicants based on academic excellence, demonstrated through outstanding study results, strong Bachelor’s degree grades, academic achievements, and consistent performance; motivation and ambition, shown by a clear purpose for pursuing the chosen Master’s programme, well-defined career goals, alignment between prior education and the selected field, and a commitment to addressing global challenges; relevance of previous degree, reflected in the connection between the applicant’s undergraduate background and the Master’s programme, along with relevant coursework and skills; and the quality of references, as evidenced by strong recommendation letters that highlight the applicant’s academic capability, potential, character, and work ethic.
