Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of an African country or a Lebanese National or a refugee or displaced person residing in Lebanon
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to the chosen master’s program
- Demonstrate exceptional academic performance with strong undergraduate GPA
- Come from a socio-economically disadvantaged background with limited financial capacity
- Demonstrate leadership potential and commitment to developing transformative leadership skills
- Have a strong desire to give back and return to one’s community after completing studies
- Be committed to attending all additional learning experiences and workshops required by the Scholars Program
- Demonstrate Readiness for University Studies in English (RUSE) by submitting acceptable test scores
- Meet AUB’s standard graduate admission requirements for the chosen program
