Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a non-Chinese citizen (not hold Chinese citizenship).
- Be physically healthy and have no criminal record.
- Abide by laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and Zhengzhou University regulations.
- Have good learning attitude with solid academic foundation and intellectual potential to become highly specialized researcher or expert.
- Not be a registered PhD student in Chinese universities at time of application.
- Hold an excellent academic record in master’s program or higher degree or equivalent
- For Pakistani applicants specifically: Should have 18-year master’s degree
- Be under 40 years old
Language Requirements:
For Chinese-taught programs:
- HSK 5 with score of 210 or higher
For English-taught programs:
- IELTS 6.5 or higher (if from non-English speaking countries)
- OR equivalent English proficiency proof

Selection Criteria
