The program specifically supports students from Belarus and other Eastern European countries who have demonstrated engagement in activities related to fostering democratic principles, human rights, rule of law, and inclusive social and economic development in their home regions. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be non-EU/EEA nationals from Belarus or other Eastern European countries
For Bachelor’s Programs:
- Hold a secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification providing access to higher education
- Demonstrate strong academic achievement in previous studies
- Meet MCI’s admission requirements for chosen bachelor’s program
For Master’s Programs:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized national or international higher education institution (minimum 3-year degree program)
- Provide complete transcript of records showing all completed courses
- Demonstrate strong academic performance throughout previous studies
- Meet MCI’s admission requirements for chosen master’s program
Commitment Requirements:
- Demonstrate current or past engagement in activities related to promoting freedom, democracy, and good governance
- Show commitment to fostering inclusive social and economic development
- Aim to further engage with and promote democratic values during studies at MCI
- English proficiency required: IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent certificates
- Submit complete application through official MCI application portal
- Provide statement recounting current or past commitment to scholarship aims related to democracy, freedom, and good governance with concrete evidence/documentation
- Demonstrate financial need and commitment to returning knowledge to home country/region
