Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold a high school diploma or certificate (or its equivalent)
- Be proficient in English
Academic Requirements:
- SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test): Total score not less than 1200
- GSAT (General Scholastic Aptitude Test): Total score not less than 1200
- A Level: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry not less than Grade B
- IB Diploma Course: Scores not less than Grade 4 in at least 5 subjects (must include Mathematics and Physics)
- GCE A-Level: Scores not less than Grade C in at least 5 subjects (must include Mathematics and Physics)
- GED (General Educational Development): Score not less than 145 in each subject, with Math and Science not lower than 165
- Myanmar Matriculation Examination: Physics, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics not lower than 75/100; Myanmar language and Biology not lower than 70/100; must contain at least 3 Distinction subjects
English Language Requirements (one of the following):
- TOEFL PBT/ITP: Not lower than 520
- TOEFL IBT: Not lower than 65
- TOEIC: Not lower than 700
- IELTS: Not lower than 6.0
- K-STEP (KMUTNB): Not lower than 75
- Duolingo: Not lower than 100
- CEFR: Not lower than B2
- Native English speakers: Not required to take English proficiency test
Scholarship Continuation Requirements:
- Must maintain minimum accumulated GPA of 2.85/4.0 throughout the program
- Tuition-waived scholarship applies for first 4 years only
- Failure to maintain required GPA may result in scholarship termination
