Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:

Must have applied for and meet the entry requirements for a Masters by Research or doctoral degree at the University of Melbourne, or be currently enrolled in a graduate research degree at the university
Open to both Australian domestic students and international students of all nationalities
New applicants who apply for a graduate research course by the application closing date for that course will be automatically considered for the scholarship — no separate application is required
Current students or those who have deferred their course commencement must submit an online scholarship application form by the relevant deadline
Factors such as completion of a degree at the same level, relevant professional experience, refereed publications, specialist qualifications, or composition of original music may also be taken into consideration
