The University of Winnipeg is a public liberal arts university located in the heart of downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on Treaty One land in the Métis Nation Homeland. Founded in 1871, UWinnipeg is one of Canada’s most diverse and inclusive universities, known for its small class sizes, strong community connections, and commitment to sustainability, social justice, and Indigenous education. The university offers a wide range of graduate programmes spanning the humanities, social sciences, sciences, and applied disciplines, providing an intimate and supportive learning environment in one of Canada’s most culturally vibrant cities.
