Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:

Must have academic rank of associate professor or above, or equivalent professional standing

Type B – Chinese University Program Eligibility:

Chinese Language Proficiency:

Undergraduate students: Must take 1-year Chinese preparatory course (exemption with HSK certificate meeting university requirements or Chinese-medium secondary education)
Graduate students in Chinese-taught programs: Must have adequate Chinese proficiency or complete 1-2 year preparatory course
HSK (Chinese proficiency test) results valid for 2 years only

English Language Proficiency:

Health Requirements:
