The scholarship is valued at approximately KRW 20 million per recipient per year and is renewable for up to two years, covering full tuition fees, a monthly living allowance of KRW 1,000,000, complete health insurance premiums, and one-way airfare to South Korea. Approximately 30 students are selected annually, with up to five applicants per country, making it a highly competitive and globally inclusive award.

This scholarship will provide the following to its recipients:

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must not be a Korean national — both the applicant and both parents must be non-Korean nationals
- Must be a bachelor’s degree holder or an expected graduate by the end of August 2026
- Must be 40 years old or younger at the time of application
- Must be admitted (or expecting to be admitted) to a master’s programme in a STEM field at one of the nine designated participating universities in Seoul: Konkuk University, Kyung Hee University, Korea University, Sogang University, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Seoul National University, University of Seoul, Sungkyunkwan University, or Soongsil University
- Must hold a minimum GPA of 80% (equivalent to 2.64/4.0) or higher
- Up to five applicants may be selected per country
