The STIBET I Scholarship and Support Programme is a financial support initiative for international students at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, administered by the BTU International Relations Office and funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) through the German Federal Foreign Office. The programme awards two distinct categories of scholarship. The first, the completion of studies scholarship, is designed to financially assist international students who have performed well academically, expect to graduate successfully within one year, and are experiencing genuine financial hardship due to circumstances beyond their control.
Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg is a public research university located in the state of Brandenburg, Germany, with campuses in Cottbus and Senftenberg. Established in 1991, BTU has grown into one of Germany’s leading technical universities in fields including engineering, natural sciences, social sciences, and economics, hosting thousands of students from over one hundred countries and maintaining strong international academic partnerships. One of BTU’s most distinctive features as a study destination is that studying there is largely free of tuition charges for all students, making it an exceptionally accessible and cost-effective destination for international students compared to many other countries.
