The Falmouth University International Talent Scholarship is a competitive award offering 15 scholarships of £2,000 each to the most talented international undergraduate students beginning their first year of full-time on-campus Bachelor’s study at Falmouth University in September 2026. The scholarship is applied as a £2,000 credit towards the second instalment of the recipient’s tuition fees and is awarded for one year only it is not a recurring award and cannot be deferred. Importantly, there is no separate application for the International Talent Scholarship; all applicants who apply for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship and are eligible but not selected for that award will automatically be considered for the International Talent Scholarship instead, with outcomes communicated by April 17, 2026. Successful applicants are permitted until May 1, 2026 to accept their offer and claim the scholarship, which cannot be combined with any other Falmouth University scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must qualify for the International fee rate (students paying Home fees are not eligible)
- Must be new to Falmouth University in the 2026/27 academic year; 2025/26 deferred or reinstated offer holders may also be considered
- Must be self-funding only
- Must hold an offer for a full-time on-campus Bachelor’s degree programme starting in September 2026 (online courses are not eligible)
- Must have received an offer from Falmouth University by April 3, 2026 at 23:59 GMT
- Must have submitted a Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship application by April 6, 2026 at 23:59 GMT — this simultaneously serves as the entry route for the International Talent Scholarship
- Must accept the offer and claim the scholarship by May 1, 2026 if selected, including paying any outstanding acceptance fee (deposit)
- The scholarship cannot be combined with any other Falmouth University scholarship and cannot be deferred

Selection Criteria
The Falmouth University International Talent Scholarship is awarded through a competitive review process in which eligible applicants who submitted a Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship application by April 6, 2026 and received an offer by April 3, 2026 are assessed provided they are not awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship based on two key criteria: the quality of the scholarship application itself and the outcome of the admissions review, with a reserve list also compiled using the same criteria to allocate any unclaimed awards; successful applicants are notified by April 17, 2026 and given until May 1, 2026 to formally accept their offer and claim the scholarship, with any unclaimed awards reallocated to reserve candidates who must respond within ten days of notification.
