The Nicola Crowley Memorial Scholarship for Women in Computer Science is a prestigious annual scholarship of NZ$8,000 offered at the University of Auckland, Waipapa Taumata Rau, to support and encourage women to pursue careers in computer science and digital technologies. Established in 2018 and funded by the New Zealand Super Fund in memory of a valued colleague, Nicola Crowley, the scholarship is awarded to one woman per year who is a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident and is enrolled full-time in the penultimate (second-to-last) year of a Bachelor of Science (BSc), BSc conjoint degree, or Bachelor of Advanced Science with Honours (BAdvSci(Hons)) majoring in Computer Science, Data Science, or Statistics at the University of Auckland.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:

  • Must identify as a woman
  • Must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
