Benefits of the Scholarship
This scholarship will provide the following to its recipients:
- Entrance Scholarship: renewable scholarship awarded automatically to students with an admission average of 80% or better
- Prestige Scholarship: highest award offered to students entering from high school or CÉGEP with an admission average of 90% or better
- Page Program Entrance Scholarship: valued at $1,000, awarded to up to 15 students in the House of Commons Page Program
- President’s Welcome Award for International Students: valued at $2,000–$5,000 CAD, awarded automatically to eligible international undergraduate students applying for September 2026
- Arthur Kroeger College National Scholarships: valued at $2,000, awarded to up to 10 students entering the Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management program
- The Law Scholarship in Architectural Studies: valued at $10,000, awarded annually to one outstanding international student entering the Bachelor of Architectural Studies from China/Hong Kong
- W.H. Collins Entrance Scholarships of Excellence: valued at $3,000, awarded to the top five students entering a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences, renewable for one additional year
- International Students’ Tuition Prize 2026: valued at $10,000 CAD each, five prizes available for admitted international undergraduate students
- Carleton University Entrance Bursary: provides additional funds to help meet direct education costs in the first year of study
- Leadership Entrance Bursary: awarded to high school students who have taken a leadership role in extracurricular activities and community service

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for these scholarships and bursaries, applicants must meet the following:
- Entrance Scholarship: must be admitted to Carleton for fall entry with an admission average of 80% or better, entering Carleton for the first time from high school or CÉGEP with no previous post-secondary attendance. Complete application and all required grades must be received by June 15
- Prestige Scholarship: must be entering Carleton directly from high school or CÉGEP with an admission average of 90% or better. Application and letter of reference required by March 1
- Page Program Entrance Scholarship: must be a student in the House of Commons Page Program entering an undergraduate degree program at Carleton
- President’s Welcome Award for International Students: must be an international undergraduate student applying for September 2026, entering directly from high school and paying international student fees
- Arthur Kroeger College National Scholarships: minimum admission average of 90%, entering the Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management program, selected from one of five Canadian regions
- The Law Scholarship in Architectural Studies: must be a full-time international undergraduate student entering the Bachelor of Architectural Studies, admitted from a high school in China or Hong Kong
- W.H. Collins Entrance Scholarships of Excellence: must be entering a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences in the fall term for the first time. Renewal requires enrolment in the same program and an annual GPA of 10.0
- International Students’ Tuition Prize 2026: must be an admitted international undergraduate student who accepts their offer of admission and pays the $2,000 tuition deposit by March 25, 2026 (first draw) or April 20, 2026 (second draw)
- Carleton University Entrance Bursary: must apply online by June 30
- Leadership Entrance Bursary: must be a high school student with demonstrated leadership in extracurricular and community activities. Application required
