The UCD Global Excellence Scholarships are prestigious tuition fee awards offered annually to outstanding international students seeking to study at undergraduate or postgraduate level in Ireland. University College Dublin awards a limited number of 100% and 50% tuition fee scholarships each year to incoming non-EU students who demonstrate exceptional academic merit and are beginning their programmes in September. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be classified as non-EU for tuition fee purposes at UCD
- Must have received an offer (or conditional offer) to study in an eligible UCD programme before applying
- Must be an incoming student — not a continuing student applying for the first time
- Programme of study must be listed among UCD’s eligible programmes for 2026
- Must meet regional application deadlines based on country of origin
- Continuing scholars are subject to annual reassessment and must meet the terms and conditions of the original award for renewal
