Cyprus International University (CIU) provides academic scholarships to its students as an incentive for success, with most students benefiting from 50%, 75%, or 100% tuition fee discounts each academic semester. All undergraduate international students are automatically granted a 50% tuition fee scholarship upon admission no separate application is required. Additional Academic Scholarships of up to 100% off tuition fees are available to prospective students based on academic merit, and Athletic Scholarships are available to students with evidence of national-level sports performance or active involvement in a CIU sports team. For postgraduate students, CIU offers scholarship opportunities for Master’s and PhD students who hold a valid Bachelor’s diploma with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.50 or above. A Progression Scholarship is also available to continuing students for full details, applicants are advised to contact the CIU Registration Office directly.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this programme, applicants must meet the following:
- International Student Scholarship (50%): Must be an international student admitted to an undergraduate programme at CIU awarded automatically upon admission
- Academic Scholarship: Must be a prospective student applying to an undergraduate programme at CIU; scholarship percentage is determined based on academic merit as evidenced by prior academic qualifications
- Athletic Scholarship: Must provide evidence of sports performance at a national level, membership of a Supreme sports league, or commitment to active involvement in a CIU sports team
- Postgraduate Scholarship: Must hold a valid Bachelor’s diploma with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.50

Selection Criteria

For postgraduate scholarships, eligible students with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on their Bachelor’s diploma are considered applicants should contact the Registration Office directly for detailed conditions and current scholarship availability.
