The La Trobe Analytics and Insights Scholarship is offered by La Trobe University in Australia to outstanding international students enrolled in data and analytics-related undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The scholarship provides a 50% or 100% reduction in annual tuition fees and is available across La Trobe University’s Victorian campuses including Melbourne, Bendigo, Albury-Wodonga, City, Mildura and Shepparton campuses. Eligible programs include the Bachelor of Business Analytics, Bachelor of Commerce with a Business Analytics major, Master of Business Analytics, Master of Business Information Systems, Master of Digital Health and Master of Sports Analytics. An alternative Analytics and Insights Scholarship offering a 30% tuition fee reduction is also available for international students enrolled in data analytics related courses. The scholarship will be applied as a discount to the recipient’s tuition fees for each subject undertaken throughout the duration of their course, with the value credited from the second semester onwards.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand
- Must not be a humanitarian or other permanent visa holder
- Must be a full fee-paying student and not sponsored
- Must be applying for direct entry into one of the following programs: Bachelor of Business Analytics, Bachelor of Commerce (Business Analytics major), Master of Business Analytics, Master of Business Information Systems, Master of Digital Health or Master of Sports Analytics
- Must commence studies at a La Trobe University Victorian campus in 2026
- Must meet the university’s English language requirements and all other conditions stated on the offer letter

Selection Criteria
Recipients of the scholarship are selected by La Trobe University based on outstanding academic performance with a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70, English language proficiency and a written statement submitted in the application form. After the application deadline, applicants are ranked and shortlisted according to their WAM. Shortlisted applicants are then invited to a final selection round and may be asked to provide further information, attend an interview or submit a video submission. The final number of successful candidates is determined through a thorough evaluation process and confirmed by La Trobe University.
