Forté Fellowships are prestigious, competitive awards recognized within the business school community and beyond, awarded by Forté’s member schools to MBA students who exhibit exemplary leadership, represent diverse backgrounds, and demonstrate a commitment to advancing women in business. To date, Forté member schools have awarded $595 million in Forté Fellowships to more than 24,000 Forté Fellows. All member schools grant awards for full-time students, with part-time and executive awards available at select schools; students of all nationalities, genders, and gender identities are eligible for consideration.
The Forté Foundation is a US-based nonprofit consortium of business schools and companies dedicated to launching women into fulfilling and significant business careers. Beyond the fellowship itself, Forté Fellows gain access to Forté’s broader network and resources, including its MBA Leadership Conference, an online networking community, a resume book distributed to Forté member companies, mentoring opportunities, and lifetime access to Forté’s online event series.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this programme, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be an MBA degree candidate at a Forté member school (full-time, part-time, executive, dual degree, or online programs, depending on the school)
- Must exhibit exemplary leadership in one or more of the following: academic leadership, team leadership, community leadership, or creative leadership
- Must represent a range of personal, educational, and professional backgrounds, as well as varied career goals
- Must demonstrate a commitment to Forté’s mission of launching women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, opportunities, and a community of successful women
- Additional requirements may be set by individual member schools (for example, alignment with the school’s mission or core values)
- Students of all nationalities, genders, and gender identities are eligible for consideration

Selection Criteria
It is up to each individual Forté member school to decide who will represent them as Forté Fellows. The process runs as follows: the student applies to a Forté member business school; the student receives an offer of admission to the school’s MBA program; the student is then considered for all scholarship opportunities through that institution; the member school selects its Forté Fellows; and the member school notifies Forté of its selections.
