Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this financial aid, applicants must meet the following:
- Must be applying to the chemistry PhD programme at the University of Rochester
- Must have a bachelor’s degree to apply to the programme
- Must submit the online application by the December 1 deadline
- International students whose native language is not English must provide proof of English language proficiency through Duolingo (120), IELTS (7.5), or TOEFL iBT (100) scores not more than two years old from the application deadline
- Must submit a Statement of Purpose, unofficial transcripts, and three letters of recommendation through the online application portal
- Applicants with a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher are eligible for an application fee waiver; those below 3.0 may apply for a fee waiver based on financial hardship

Selection Criteria
