The Leslie Woo Entrance Scholarship for Women in STEM is awarded annually by the University of Waterloo to a full-time undergraduate student who identifies as a woman, enrolled in Year One of a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics program in which women are underrepresented. The scholarship is valued at $2,000 and is awarded on the basis of academic excellence with a minimum admission average of 80%. No application is required as eligible students are automatically considered at the time of admission. This fund was made possible by a generous donation from Leslie Woo, a graduate of the Bachelor of Architecture program at the University of Waterloo in 1984, to inspire and reward women students who pursue higher education in STEM fields.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
- Must identify as a woman
- Must be enrolled full-time in Year One of a STEM program at the University of Waterloo in which women are underrepresented
- Must have a minimum admission average of 80%
